The BIG question for 2024 is whether the Retail M&A market will have a  bumpy future or a breakout from its recent doldrums.

Three experienced consumer/retail investment bankers who have seen cycles like this before will share their perspectives: Paul Altman, Managing Director, The Sage Group; Billy Busko, Managing Director, Consensus Advisors; and Richard Kestenbaum, Partner, Triangle Capital.

Topics to be covered include:

  • What is the current state of M&A activity and in what sectors of retail?

  • Why does there seem to be heightened activity in the "take private" market?

  • What types of buyers and sellers are active?

  • What are recent trends in valuation?

  • How are the credit markets impacting M&A transactions?

Our moderator is RMS board member and Investment banker Mary Ann Domuracki, Partner, MMG Advisors.
